MANAGER OF EXPLORATION

MAG Silver Corp. is a Vancouver based, publicly traded silver company focused on district scale silver exploration in Mexico. The company is in advanced stage exploration headed towards development. The company's main project in Juanicipio is located next to Fresnillo, the world's largest silver mine. Currently, corporate growth as a result of successful exploration has created the need for a Manager of Exploration for the company's projects. The Manager of Exploration will be based at the company's Head Office in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Reporting to the President, the Manager of Exploration will be responsible for the design and implementation of exploration programs and will also oversee the development of these programs. The successful candidate will also have fiscal responsibility for an annual exploration budget in excess of $ 5 million dollars. The incumbent will travel to Mexico frequently.

The successful candidate will be a graduate geologist with 10-15 years related industry experience in executing exploration programs and in completing final technical reports in NI 43-101 format. The incumbent must have public disclosure experience and also should have experience in the property/technical areas of report writing. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of managing people and multiple projects/priorities in which attention to detail has been a requirement. Good interpersonal and communication skills and familiarity with geological and mining software are also required. Latin American experience and/or the ability to speak and write Spanish would be an asset but is not necessary for consideration.
